Robbers Bridge

Robbers Bridge Exmoor: this scene, recorded some years ago, can no longer be photographed as the tree branch that so nicely mirrors the curve of the bridge has fallen off.

The scene is notable for another reason.

When I captured this image I was in the company of another photographer who positioned his tripod near the water’s edge. He caught a leg of it with his foot, sending the camera into the river. The camera was not waterproof…
